Fayoum University is organizing its 7th Commencement Day on December 30th, 2014 at the Main Hall. The event will be witnessed by Prof. El Sayed Abdel Khalek, Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Hazem Attiallah, Governor of Fayoum, and Prof. Khaled Hamza, President of Fayoum University.   It is worth mentioning that the event will feature honoring the winners of Fayoum University Incentive Award namely Prof. Magdy Tawfik Hanna for his research production, Prof. Mohamed Abdullah Afify for his teaching expertise, Prof. Mahmoud Abdel Gawad, a professor emeritus at the Faculty of Agriculture, and Prof. Dayhom Abdel Hamid Al-Basel, a professor emeritus at the Faculty of Science.   Also, some faculty members will be recognized for being promoted namely Dr. Mohamed Attia Mahmoud, Prof. Nashwa Samra, a professor at the Faculty of Medicine, and Prof. Ragab Ismael, a professor at the Faculty of Agriculture.   Furthermore, distinguished figures in the fields of academic writing and translation will be honored, too. They are Prof. Abdel Hamid Hassan Hamouda, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Prof. Mohamed Kamal Khalaf, a professor at the Faculty of Archaeology, Dr. Tamer Mohamed Saudy, a lecturer at the Faculty of Science, and Dr. Ahmed Ali Ibrahim, a lecturer at the Faculty of Education.   In addition, the ceremony will honor some faculty members, including lecturers and assistant lecturers, and recipients of master's and doctoral degrees.
