Seminar focuses on teamwork skills

  A seminar on "Teamwork Skills" was held by the Crisis Management Center of the Faculty of Medicine.   The seminar was honored to have the presence of Prof. Farid Awad Hedar, Vice President for Community Service and Environment Development, Prof. Abdel Hamid Abdel Tawab Sabry, Former President of Fayoum University, Prof. Mohamed Kamal Sief Elnaser, Vice Dean of Faculty of Medicine for Education and Students' Affairs, Prof. Emad Dewidar, Director, Crisis Management Center, Dr. Ahmed Gomaa, Director, Crisis Management Unit of the Faculty of Medicine, and faculty students.   Professor Farid Awad Hedar told those present: ‘Teamwork means cooperation which our country needs badly nowadays and Allah Says in His Holy Quran:"Help you one another in Al-Birr and At-Taqwa (virtue, righteousness and piety); but do not help one another in sin and transgression. And fear Allah. Verily, Allah is Severe in punishment."   He also added that a cooperative team helps maximize production and enhance members' skills and experiences.   Taking the floor, Professor Abdel Hamid Abdel Tawab Sabry urged the attendees to work in teams for the good of Egypt.   On a similar note, Dr. Emad Dewidar said that the workshop aims to help students acquire a variety of skills and soft skills which can maximize the capabilities of the team members and thus become effective leaders.
