The Institute Council met today, Monday, December 8, 2025, chaired by Prof. Dr. Asem Fouad Al-Isawi, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development and Supervisor of the Institute, and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Nasser Abd El-Sattar, Deputy Director of the Institute for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and the members of the council.
The meeting began with a welcome speech by the chairman, followed by a discussion of the agenda items. The council discussed several organizational matters related to the institute and postgraduate studies, including the approval of the schedule for postgraduate exams (Diploma, Master's, and Ph.D.) for the first semester of the academic year 2025/2026, the announcement of exam schedules, and the formation of the postgraduate control committee.
Additionally, the council approved the annual and semi-annual progress reports for master's and Ph.D. students in the Department of Geographical Studies, as well as cultural relations topics and other matters related to the Community Service and Environmental Development Committee and the Equipment and Laboratories Committee
