Prof. Dr. Taher Hassan Mohamed, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels – Fayoum University and Acting Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, participated in the scientific conference organized by the Department of Hospitality at the Higher Institute for Specific Studies in New Damietta, held at Loret Hotel in Tunisia Village, under the title: "Global Geopolitical Changes and Their Impact on the Hospitality Industry".
His participation came in response to the kind invitation extended by Prof. Dr. Mostafa Mahmoud Hussein Abu Hamad, Dean of the Higher Institute for Specific Studies in New Damietta, and in the presence of Dr. Ihab Mahmoud Eid, Chairman of the Institute's Board of Directors, alongside a distinguished group of faculty members, researchers, and specialists in the fields of tourism and hospitality.
The conference addressed several specialized scientific topics that discussed the implications of global geopolitical changes on the hospitality industry, mechanisms for effectively managing present challenges, and strategies for promoting sector sustainability, contributing to enhancing its capacity to keep pace with regional and international developments.
