Master's Thesis Defense Entitled "Heritage professions in Fayoum Governorate: An Analytical Study" at the Department of Tourist Guidance, Faculty of Tourism and Hotels
Under the patronage of Prof. Taher Hassan Mohamed Abdel-Hamid, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels – Fayoum University, and Acting Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, a discussion session (defense) was held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, for the master's thesis submitted by the researcher Tasneem Sayed Mahmoud Ramadan Abdullah, of the Department of Tourist Guidance, Faculty of Tourism and Hotels – Fayoum University.
The examination and evaluation committee was composed of:
Prof. Marfat Abdel Hady Abdel Latif, Professor at the Department of Tourist Guidance, Faculty of Tourism and Hotels – Fayoum University, Chair and Examiner.
Prof. Waheed Attia Mohamed, Professor at the Department of Tourist Guidance, Faculty of Tourism and Hotels – Fayoum University, Main Supervisor and Examiner.
Mr. Hisham Emad Abdel Aziz El-Gazzar, Member of the Board of the Handicrafts Industry Chamber and Chairman of the Handicrafts Export Council at the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Supervisor and Examiner.

The defense featured a fruitful scholarly dialogue addressing the thesis's core themes, along with the findings and recommendations it presented, contributing to highlighting the significance of heritage crafts in Fayoum Governorate and their role in supporting tourism and preserving cultural heritage.
At the conclusion of the defense, Prof. Taher Hassan Mohamed extended his heartfelt congratulations to the researcher, wishing her continued success and achievement, and wishing all researchers at the Faculty further excellence and contribution to enriching scientific research.
