Under the patronage of Prof. Nancy Mohamed Fawzy Gamal El-Din, Dean of the Faculty, and the supervision of Prof. Marfat Abdel Hady Abdel Latif, Acting Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, the Community Service and Environmental Development Agency at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels – Fayoum University organized an awareness seminar entitled "Rationalizing Energy and Water Consumption in Hotel Establishments."

The seminar was presented by Dr. Ahmed Ghaith Abdel Halim, Assistant Professor at the Department of Hotel Studies, with the attendance of a gathering of Faculty students and administrative staff, in the Discussion Hall on the Fourth Floor.

The seminar addressed introducing students to the importance and mechanisms of rationalizing energy and water consumption within hotel establishments, within the framework of the Faculty's commitment to strengthening environmental awareness and enhancing the educational and service process for students.
