Under the patronage of Prof. Nancy Mohamed Fawzy Gamal El-Din, Dean of the Faculty, and the supervision of Prof. Walid El-Hady, Head of the Department of Tourist Guidance, the first scientific and field visits organized by the Department of Tourist Guidance at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels – Fayoum University to the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir began on Monday, October 5, 2026.

The visit targeted Third Level students of the department, and was conducted under the academic supervision of the professors of the "Tourist Guidance (3)" course:

• Prof. Taher Mohamed Hassan, Professor at the Department of Tourist Guidance and Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs.
• Dr. Soraya Rizk, Lecturer at the Department.

The explanation and field training for students were conducted by:

• Ms. Maureen Michel, Teaching Assistant at the Department of Tourist Guidance.
• Ms. Israa Ashour, Teaching Assistant at the Department of Tourist Guidance.

The visit featured practical and applied training for students, offering them a genuine field experience that contributes to refining their guiding and professional skills, within the framework of the Faculty's commitment to enhancing the quality of the educational process and linking the academic aspect with practical application, thereby contributing to preparing distinguished graduates qualified for the labor market.
