Meeting of the Council of the Research and Strategic Studies Institute for Nile Basin Countries - Fayoum University

Session No. (165), July 2026The Institute Council convened today, Monday, July 13, 2026, chaired by Prof. Dr. Nasser Abdel Sattar Abdelhady - Dean of the Institute, with the membership of Dr. Eman El-Hamamsy - Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and the honorable members of the Council.His Excellency began the meeting by welcoming the attendees, then proceeded to discuss the agenda.The Council discussed several key issues, most notably:  Graduate Studies Affairs:  Approval of the proposal from the Department of Economic Studies and Agricultural Development to form the discussion and judgment committee for the Master's degree in Economic Studies and Agricultural Development.Approval to announce the opening of applications for enrollment and registration in graduate programs for the academic year 2026/2027 starting from 2026/8/1, according to the conditions stated in the regulations.Development of Scientific Services:  Approval to activate distance learning in accordance with Article (18) of the Institute's bylaws, and to establish a Distance Learning Department to broadcast educational programs in appropriate languages to serve students inside and outside Egypt.Other Issues:  Approval of topics related to the Cultural Relations Committee, the Community Service and Environmental Development Committee, and the Equipment and Laboratories Committee.
