Under the patronage of Prof. Nancy Mohamed Fawzy, Dean of the Faculty, the doctoral dissertation defense was held today, Saturday, September 26, 2026, for the researcher Furat Maan Shawkat El-Mheisen (a Jordanian national), of the Department of Hotel Studies, entitled:

“The Impact of Dimensions of Hotel Experience of Guests with Disabilities on Repurchase Intention.”

The examination and evaluation committee was composed of:

Prof. Ashraf El-Sayed Abdel Maboud, Professor at the Department of Hotel Studies, Faculty of Tourism and Hotels – Fayoum University, Chair and Supervisor.

Prof. Yasser Ibrahim Ahmed Ibrahim, Professor at the Department of Hotel Management, Faculty of Tourism and Hotels – Capital University, Examiner.

Prof. Mohamed Omar Ahmed, Professor at the Department of Hotel Studies, Faculty of Tourism and Hotels – Fayoum University, Examiner.

The committee commended the significance of the study’s topic and its findings, which can be practically applied to enhance hotel services for tourists with special needs in Egypt and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

This event reflects the Faculty’s ongoing commitment to supporting postgraduate research and encouraging studies that serve the hospitality sector and improve the quality of services provided to all categories of guests.
