Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, the eighteenth Science Day celebration for 2026 witnessed the honoring of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Abdel Maboud, former Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, in recognition of his distinguished efforts during his tenure as Dean of the Faculty for two consecutive terms.

This honor acknowledges the significant contributions he made toward supporting and developing the Faculty, and the academic and administrative achievements accomplished during his leadership that contributed to advancing the educational and research process and enhancing the Faculty's standing at both the academic and institutional levels.

On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Taher Hassan Mohamed, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, and the entire Faculty family extend heartfelt congratulations and appreciation to Prof. Dr. Ashraf Abdel Maboud, commending the dedicated service and sincere efforts he demonstrated throughout his leadership journey, and wishing him continued success and sound judgment.
