As part of the closing ceremony for the activities of the Community Service and Environmental Development sector at Fayoum University for the 2025/2026 academic year, held today, Monday, September 14, 2026, at the university's Central Library, under the patronage of Prof. Sherif Mohamed Sabry El-Attar, Acting President of the University and Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Asem El-Eisawy, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs and Supervisor of the Postgraduate Studies Sector, Prof. Nancy Mohamed Fawzy, Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, received an award from Fayoum University.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Ahmed Reshad, Secretary General of the University, along with a select group of faculty deans and vice deans, directors of centers and special-status units, and faculty members and staff of the university. The event featured a review of the most notable community activities, events, and initiatives implemented by the university during the academic year, affirming its commitment to strengthening its partnerships with community institutions and supporting the path of sustainable development.
Prof. Nancy Mohamed Fawzy's recognition came in appreciation of her outstanding efforts in supporting the activities of the Community Service and Environmental Development sector, and her commitment to strengthening the presence of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels in both university and community initiatives and events.
