Under the gracious patronage of Prof. Sherif Mohamed Sabry El-Attar, Acting President of Fayoum University and Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Asem Fouad El-Eisawy, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs and Supervisor of the Postgraduate Studies and Research Sector, the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels hosted the personal interviews for students applying to join the Faculty's various programs.
The personal interviews were conducted under the supervision of Prof. Nancy Mohamed Fawzy, Dean of the Faculty, and the coordination of Prof. Taher Hassan Mohamed, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels for Education and Student Affairs, with the attendance of faculty members, teaching assistant staff, and administrative staff of the Faculty.
The interviews were conducted with comprehensive organization and coordination, with students received and their entry to the committees organized, and personal interviews conducted within the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels building according to the mechanisms and standards established for admission to the Faculty, ensuring the principle of equal opportunity and the selection of the most prepared and qualified students for admission.
It is worth noting that the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels offers a diverse package of bachelor's degree programs, namely:
- Bachelor's Program in Business Administration in Tourism
- Bachelor's Program in Business Administration in Hospitality
- Bachelor's Program in Tourist Guidance
- Bachelor's Program in Tourism and Hotels
- Bachelor's Program in Ecological Tourist Guidance
These are distinguished academic programs that keep pace with contemporary developments and labor market needs, and contribute to preparing graduates equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to compete across various fields of work.
Prof. Nancy Mohamed Fawzy, Dean of the Faculty, affirmed that the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels is committed to upholding the principles of transparency and equal opportunity in the personal interviews, and to selecting students according to clear criteria that ensure the admission of the most prepared candidates, capable of benefiting from the nature of the Faculty, its diverse programs, and its fields of work.
The Faculty aims to prepare graduates who are scientifically and practically qualified to work in the various fields of the tourism sector, thereby contributing to opening new career prospects for graduates.
The interview sessions witnessed active attendance and participation from faculty members, teaching assistant staff, and administrative staff of the Faculty, who contributed to organizing the committees and facilitating procedures for students, helping the day proceed in an organized manner.
