The Academy of Scientific Research
and Technology announces
the opening of applications for
Master's and Doctoral scholarships
within the main program for
developing the capabilities of researchers from secondary school to
international level (GROWTH).
Application Period:
From March 1st to May 31st, 2026
First: PhD Scholarships
-
Scholarship Duration: 4 years
-
Scholarship Amount: Up to EGP
350,000 (maximum)
-
The scholarship does not include a
monthly salary or incentives.
Main Requirements:
•
Egyptian nationality
•
Master's degree from a recognized
university (with a minimum grade of Very Good in the Bachelor's degree)
•
Actively enrolled in postgraduate
studies at an Egyptian university
•
Completion of the PhD preparatory
program
•
Age not exceeding 35 years
•
Affiliated with a research
institution or a research and development department in a company/factory
•
Not receiving any other
scholarship
•
Military service/public service
status fulfilled
•
Priority will be given to
recipients of the "Next Generation Scientists" scholarship
•
Consideration will be given to the
applicant's and principal supervisor's H-index
•
Selection will be based on
cumulative GPA, and in case of a tie, work experience will be considered
•
The scholarship does not

Second: Master's Scholarships

250,000 (maximum)

Main Requirements:
•
Egyptian nationality
•
Bachelor's degree with a minimum
grade of Very Good from a recognized university
•
Actively enrolled in postgraduate
studies (Master's) at an Egyptian university
•
Completion of the Master's
preparatory program
•
Age not exceeding 30 years
•
Affiliated with a research
institution or a research and development department in a company/factory
•
Not receiving any other
scholarship
•
Compliance with military service/public
service requirements
•
Selection will be based on
cumulative GPA, and in case of a tie, work experience will be considered
•
The scholarship does not
constitute an appointment or employment commitment

Priority applications are prioritized according to Egypt's Vision 2030, with a
focus on emerging technologies such as:
Artificial intelligence,
semiconductors, biotechnology, cyber security, high-performance computing,
