Regarding
the allegations raised on a social media page concerning the appointment of a
faculty member at the College of Dentistry at the university, and the claim of
irregularities, the University Council affirms the following:
First:
The appointment was made in accordance with the legal procedures stipulated in
the Universities Organization Law. Two examination and hearing committees were
formed, and they concluded that the applicant was qualified for the advertised
position. Based on this, the competent authority issued the appointment
decision after approval by the University Council.
Second:
The University Council, in the interest of greater transparency and integrity,
affirms that the appointment procedures in the advertised competition have been
referred to a legal committee comprised of the Dean of the Faculty of Law, the
University's Legal Advisor, and the University's General Administration of
Legal Affairs. This committee will review the procedures, verify their
compliance with the law, and refer any irregularities uncovered during the
review for investigation.
Third:
The University, in the spirit of integrity and transparency as a state
institution, is fully prepared to receive any official complaints from any
interested party, whether from within or outside the university, who is
aggrieved by the appointment decision and the procedures undertaken in
connection with it.
Fourth:
Regarding the allegations of irregularities in the examination process at the
Faculty of Dentistry, a committee will be formed, chaired by the Vice President
for Education and Student Affairs, to examine and verify the integrity of all
examination procedures. The University Council affirms that any irregularities
uncovered during this examination will be referred for investigation.
Finally,
the University Council appreciates all sincere efforts aimed solely at serving
the public interest without compromising the integrity of state institutions,
their members, or those responsible for their administration.
