Prof.
Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, extended his sincere
congratulations to Prof. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and
Scientific Research, and to Prof. Moustafa Refaat, Secretary of the Supreme
Council of Universities, and the Council's members, on the occasion of the
Supreme Council of Universities obtaining four international conformity
certificates (ISO), most notably the ISO 37000:2021, Governance System
certificate and the ISO 30401:2018 Knowledge Management System certificate,
making it the first national entity in Egypt to receive these two certificates,
accredited by the Egyptian Accreditation Council (EGAC).

Hatata praised Yasser Magdy Hatata praised this achievement, which reflects the
planning and management efforts within the Supreme Council of Universities,
affirming its commitment to implementing the highest international quality
standards in the higher education system. He noted that this success represents
a significant step in supporting the state's efforts to improve institutional
performance within universities and enhance the efficiency of the education and
scientific research system, in line with "Egypt Vision 2030" and the
National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research in governance,
knowledge management, and digital transformation.
He
added that the Council's success in achieving this international accreditation
strengthens the position of Egyptian higher education in the region and
confirms the ability of Egyptian universities to compete and adopt modern
methodologies in knowledge management and quality, which will positively impact
the educational and research services provided to students and researchers.
The
Supreme Council of Universities' attainment of the institutional governance
certificate is a pivotal step towards enhancing trust in the educational system
and ensuring that decisions are made institutionally, based on transparency and
accountability. The knowledge management system certificate reflects the
Council's commitment to systematically documenting, managing, and transferring
knowledge, contributing to building a solid knowledge base that supports
continuous development and innovation in higher education.
He
concluded by saying that Fayoum University wishes the Supreme Council of
Universities and the Ministry of Higher Education continued progress and
success in developing and supporting the educational system in Egypt.
