initiatives both within and outside the university, explaining mechanisms for supporting
new volunteer ideas. He commended the role of the Social Solidarity Unit in
establishing a culture of volunteering and providing real opportunities for
students to participate and gain practical experience.
Prof.

fundamental element in building the character of university students,
especially given the university's interest in its students who take initiatives
and its commitment to providing a stimulating environment that enables them to
play their role in community development projects. He called on students to
continue working as a team, emphasizing that the value of volunteering is
revealed when a young person leaves a real impact on their community.
The celebration
was held as part of the Social Solidarity Unit's commemoration of International
Volunteer Day, with the participation of a group of volunteers, to promote a
culture of giving and cultivate values of belonging and social responsibility
within the university. The event also included a presentation of the
"Volunteer Hours" program, which allows students to register their
contributions according to clear criteria, thus helping to build an accurate
database and support a culture of organized volunteering. The program aims to
motivate students, develop their skills, and provide them with experiences that
support their career paths.
The
celebration concluded with the honoring of a group of outstanding volunteers in
recognition of their contributions and efforts, with an emphasis on continued
cooperation in implementing volunteer initiatives that serve university
students and the local community.
