Prof.
Sherif El-Attar, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, inaugurated
the Small Industries Competition and Exhibition, organized by the General
Administration for Student Welfare across all university faculties,under the
patronage of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University. The event
was attended by Prof. Wael Tobar, General Coordinator of Student Activities,
Ms. Salwa Fouad, Director General of Student Welfare, and a number of
administrators and students. The inauguration took place on Wednesday, November
12, 2025, at the university's central library.
Prof.
Sherif El-Attar emphasized that Fayoum University places great importance on
organizing events and activities that aim to develop students' skills, enhance
their abilities, and support their innovative and creative initiatives.
It is
worth noting that the competition's judging panel included Prof. Awad
Abdel-Tawab and Prof. Alaa El-Din Mahmoud, both professors of Food Industries
at the Faculty of Agriculture, and Prof. Abeer Youssef, Professor of Art
Education at the Faculty of Specific Education.
The
exhibition included a number of student handicrafts, recycled works, food and
ceramic industries, as well as textiles and accessories, pastries and
detergents, paintings, embroidery, crochet and knitting works, and copper
crafts.
