Under
the patronage of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University,
Prof. Assem El-Essawy, Vice President of the University for Community Service
and Environmental Development, representing the University, and Engineer Hesham
Azzouz, Director of the Volunteer Department at Misr El Kheir Foundation,
representing the Foundation, signed a joint cooperation protocol between the
University and the Foundation. The signing ceremony took place on Sunday,
November 23, 2025, in the presence of Mr. Walid Qotb, Director of the Fayoum
Office, Mr. Youssef Wagdy, Head of Volunteers in the Governorates, and Ms.
Magda, Head of the Fayoum Volunteer Team at the Foundation.
The
joint cooperation protocol focuses on a project to assist students from outside
Fayoum who are unable to pay tuition fees and dormitory costs for the 2025/2026
academic year.
The
protocol also includes recruiting, training, and qualifying volunteers,
implementing joint community initiatives between Fayoum University and Misr El
Kheir Foundation, and supporting development activities and community service
initiatives.
The
protocol aims to support community work and promote a culture of volunteering
among young people, especially through partnership with Fayoum University, in
order to contribute to building young cadres capable of making a real change in
society.
