Under
the patronage of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, the
Community Service and Environmental Development Council held its 215th
session, chaired by Prof. Assem Fouad El-Essawy, Vice President of the
University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and attended by
the council members, on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at the University's Central
Library.
The
council discussed several topics, including the annual plan for the Community
Service and Environmental Development sector regarding the organization of
comprehensive medical and development convoys to villages in Fayoum
Governorate. The council was also briefed on a report concerning Fayoum
University's participation in the second edition of the Fayoum International
Film Festival 2025, as well as a consolidated report on the "Tamkeen"
initiative – Phase Two, submitted by the Center for the Care and Rehabilitation
of Persons with Disabilities.
Furthermore,
the council discussed several protocols and cooperation agreements with
entities interested in collaborating with the Community Service and
Environmental Development sector, in addition to reviewing the sector's
activities and participation in various events during the past period.
