Prof. Yasser
Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, attended the celebration honoring
outstanding sons of the faculty members and administrative staff which was
organized by the General Administration of Public Relations and Media in
cooperation with the Social Committee of the Faculty Members Club, the Sports
Committee, and"the Sports Committee and the Employees' Union Committee at the
University. The ceremony was attended by Prof. Assem Al-Essawy, Vice President
of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs,
Prof. Nour Al-Ramady, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Faculty Members
Club, Prof. Wafaa Yousry, Rapporteur of the Social Committee of the Faculty
Members Club, Mr. Amr Mady, Assistant Secretary of the University for Financial
Affairs and Head of the University Sports Committee, Mr. Abdel Nasser Bakry,
Director General of the General Administration of Community Service and
Environmental Development Affairs and Head of the Employees' Union Committee,
Ms. Hala Abdel Rahman Al-Swaify, Director General of the General Administration
of Public Relations and Media and Vice President of the Sports Committee, and a
number of faculty members, employees, and honored students. The ceremony was
held on Thursday, September 18, 2025, in the Grand Celebration Hall.
Prof.
Yasser Magdy Hatata explained that honoring outstanding students from the sons
of the university's faculty members and administrative staff is a university
tradition that the university is keen to organize periodically to encourage
students to achieve further excellence. He emphasized the importance of
promoting the value of education as the most prominent means of societal
advancement. He called on parents to give their children the opportunity to
choose the appropriate academic path.
Prof.
Nour El-Ramady praised the great support provided by the university
administration to all its affiliates. He urged students to assume
responsibility toward their families and communities, to continue to exert
effort, to acquire knowledge, and to adhere to noble moral and human values.
Mr.
Amr Mady noted that academic excellence is a message and a pledge to oneself to
be a role model in knowledge and work, and a model of ethics and behavior. He
emphasized that success requires effort, dedication, perseverance, and
sacrifice. Prof. Ahmed Abdel Moqtadir, Head of the Pediatrics Department at the
Faculty of Medicine, delivered a speech on behalf of the parents of the
honorees. He stated that today is a day to reap the fruits and crown the
efforts made over the years with diligence and dedication. He pointed out that
achieving success requires continued hard work.
It
is worth noting that 130 outstanding students from the undergraduate and
graduate levels, as well as from the secondary and preparatory levels, were
honored. A number of the organizers of the celebration were also honored. On
the sidelines of the ceremony, the Fayoum University Choir presented a
distinguished artistic performance.
