clear and streamlined mechanisms to facilitate the admission and registration
process for international students, removing any obstacles they may face, and
attracting more of them to enhance the standing of Egyptian higher education as
a distinguished educational destination.
For her part, Ms. Rehab Abdel Raouf explained that the workshop comes
within the framework of activating the axes of the Ministry of Higher
Education’s plan to care for expatriates; as it focused on the system of
expatriate students, methods of submitting an expatriate student, rules of
tuition fees, mechanisms for paying them and the exemptions granted, in
addition to the controls for obtaining a statement of status and withdrawing
the file.
