Fayoum University
maintained its ranking in the Times Higher Education Interdisciplinary Science
Rankings 2026.
The university was
ranked in the 301-350 band globally, among 911 universities representing 94
different countries. It also ranked 13th among Egyptian universities.
It is worth noting
that the Times Higher Education Interdisciplinary Science Rankings relied on
three main criteria to evaluate universities: Inputs (19%), which represents
the amount of funding for interdisciplinary research; Processes (16%), which
represent the infrastructure and support provided for the development of interdisciplinary
research; and Outputs (65%), which represent the number, quality, and research
reputation of interdisciplinary research.
