Under
the patronage of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University,
Prof. Sherif El-Attar, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs,
attended the 16th annual "Enactus Fayoum" Festival.
The
event was also attended by Prof. Wael Tobar, General Coordinator of Student
Activities at the University and the team's academic supervisor, and took place
on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at the University's Central Library.
Prof. Sherif
El-Attar praised the team members' spirit of cooperation and teamwork, their
dedication, outstanding performance, evident effort, and healthy competition,
as well as their advanced scientific thinking, which contributed to developing
innovative ideas and projects that serve the community and support sustainable
development efforts. He wished them continued success.
He also
commended the team's project on preserving childhood vaccines, which
exemplifies a distinguished model for combining sustainability and energy conservation.
This project underscores the students' awareness of social and environmental
issues and their ability to apply scientific knowledge to provide practical
solutions that benefit the community.
Prof. Wael
Tobar confirmed that the event included a series of seminars and
awareness-raising and training activities aimed at supporting a culture of
entrepreneurship, preparing the youth for the job market, and developing their
skills in artificial intelligence. He also emphasized the importance of mastering
English as a fundamental skill for keeping pace with the demands of the modern
era, in addition to providing support for student projects and innovative ideas.
He
further explained that the event witnessed broad participation from Fayoum
University students, with more than 350 male and female students from various
faculties taking part. This followed registration through an online form, which
attracted approximately 709 students, indicating the high level of interest and
the students' keenness to participate in activities and events that contribute
to developing their abilities and refining their diverse skills.
