16 Innovative Projects Address Disability Issues at Goodwill Ambassadors Forum

Under the patronage of Prof. Abdel Aziz Qansouh, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, and under the supervision of Prof. Sherif El-Attar, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Fayoum University will host the Fifth National Forum of the "Goodwill Ambassadors" initiative from May 3-6, 2026, with the participation of 16 Egyptian public, private, and national universities.

Prof. Sherif El-Attar explained that the forum, themed "Energy, Not Disability," will include 30 male and female students from various universities who presented a range of projects serving people with disabilities.

The projects were as follows: Ain Shams University “Your Voice at the University”, Benha University “Masar”, Mansoura University “Al-Qaderoun”, Menoufia National University “MQ Link”, Tanta University “Makan”, Sadat City University “Sanad”, Al-Salam University “Access Slimic”, Kafr El-Sheikh University “Awn”, Damietta University “Black X”, Fayoum University “Next Coder”, Beni Suef University “Wajat”, Assiut University “Basmat Athar”, Assiut National University “Sanad Center”, Sohag University “Smart Artificial Hand”, Qena University “Planting Hope” initiative, Suez University “Smart Wheelchair”.

Prof. Wael Tobar, General Coordinator of Student Activities at the university, indicated that the judging criteria for the Goodwill Ambassadors initiative included general appearance and personal attributes, the content of the presentation and its relevance to the topic, innovation and general knowledge, resume and interaction, work plan and essay, and English language proficiency.
