Under
the auspices of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, the
Council of Education and Student Affairs held its 236th session,
chaired by Prof. Sherif El-Attar, Vice President for Education and Student
Affairs, in the presence of the esteemed members of the Council, on Monday,
July 20, 2026, at the Central Library.
During
the session, the Council was briefed on the Faculty of Arts Council Resolution
No. (241) dated June 14, 2026, approving the proposed programs in Entrepreneurship
and Theater and Art Criticism Studies as fee-based programs under the
credit-hour system.
The
Council was also briefed on the letter from the Director of the Center for
Quality Assurance and Strategic Planning, regarding the report of the Head of
the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education. The
report included key recommendations for strengthening areas of excellence and
addressing weaknesses, with the aim of incorporating relevant practices and
recommendations into the continuous improvement and development plans within
the Education and Student Affairs sector. This will contribute to enhancing
performance efficiency and achieving quality and accreditation standards, in
line with the Egyptian state's directives to improve the quality of education
and ensure student satisfaction.
In
addition, other items on the agenda were discussed.
