Prof.
Sherif Mohamed Sabry El-Attar, Acting President of Fayoum University, held a
meeting with officials from the University Information Center, in the presence
of Prof. Rania Abu El-Saoud, Executive Director of the University Information Center;
Prof. Ahmed Baqoush, Director of the Management Information Systems Unit at the
University Information Center; and Prof. Ahmed Salama, Executive Director of
the University Information Network and Supervisor of the Electronic Portal Project,
on Wednesday, August 19, 2026.
Prof.
Sherif El-Attar stated that the meeting emphasized the need to expand the
application of the electronic testing system in all faculties. He also directed
efforts to generalize the SIS system related to the new management information
systems.
He also
discussed the progress of the university website, reviewed the status of the
network project, the digital library, digital transformation, and the
university e-book.
Prof.
Rania Abu Al-Saud stated that all the automated electronic services provided by
the university through the Information Center platforms were reviewed for all
university staff, including faculty members, students, and administrators. She
pointed out that the university's Information Center administration is keen to
facilitate all services and mechanisms for dealing with the various electronic
platforms.
