The Supreme Council of
Universities held its periodic meeting, chaired by Dr. Abdelaziz
Konsowa—Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Acting
Minister of Culture—with the attendance of Dr. Moustafa Rifaat, Secretary of
the Council, and the Council’s members. The meeting took place at the
Ministry’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital.
At the beginning of the meeting,
the Council extended its congratulations to Dr. Nasser Mandour on the renewal
of his appointment as President of Suez Canal University, wishing him continued
success and prosperity.
The Minister also commended the
recognition bestowed by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi upon a number of
university students, in appreciation of the outstanding achievements and
international awards they have earned across various fields—most notably architecture,
programming, engineering, student leadership, artificial intelligence, and
cloud computing.
