Opening of the Solidarity Exhibition "Continuous Giving"

Under the patronage of Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity, and Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, and under the supervision of Prof. Assem Fouad El-Essawy, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Mohamed El-Akaby, Assistant Minister of Social Solidarity for Strategic Communication and Supervisor of Social Solidarity Units in Egyptian Universities, Prof. Assem Fouad El-Essawy, accompanied by Prof. Sherif El-Attar, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, inaugurated the "Continuous Giving" Solidarity Exhibition, organized by the University's Social Solidarity Unit and the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector in cooperation with the Orman Association, on Monday, March 2, 2026, at the University's Central Library.

 

In attendance were several deans and vice-deans of faculties, Ms. Sherine Fathy, Undersecretary of the Fayoum Directorate of Social Solidarity, Mr. Abdel Nasser Mohamed, Director General of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, several university directors, Mr. Imam Ahmed Imam, Director of the Orman Association's Fayoum branch, Mr. Ramadan Abdel Salam, the association's Executive Director, Dr. Shaimaa Ramadan, Director of the Seminars Department in the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, Ms. Asmaa Abdel Qader, Director of the University's Social Solidarity Unit, and administrative staff.

 

Prof. Assem El-Essawy explained that the exhibition reflects Fayoum University's commitment to supporting and caring for its most vulnerable students, particularly students with disabilities, students from families benefiting from the Takaful and Karama program, and students registered on the university's "Hayat" platform.

 

He added that the exhibition aims to distribute about 6,000 new pieces of clothing to approximately 2,400 male and female students over three days, confirming the university’s community role and its keenness to provide various forms of support to its students, which contributes to easing the burdens on them.
