Under
the patronage of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University and
Chairman of the University Awards Council, the Council held its first meeting
for the academic year (2025/2026), in the presence of its members, on Monday,
March 9, 2026, in the meeting room attached to the office of the University
President, in preparation for the 18th Science Day.
The
Fayoum University Awards Council discussed granting a number of awards, namely:
the University Appreciation Award, the Excellence Award in (scientific research
for the practical and literary sectors, and community service and environmental
development), the Encouragement Award in (promotion to higher academic ranks
for assistant professors and professors, scientific authorship for the
practical and literary sectors, and translation for the practical and literary
sectors), the Excellence in International Scientific Publishing Award, the Best
Scientific Thesis Award (Master's/Doctorate) in the practical and literary
sectors, as well as the award for those who obtained Master's or Doctorate
degrees from (the assisting staff, administrators, and expatriates), and the
Community Service and Environmental Development Sector Award (Ambassador/Ali
Al-Ashiry Award for the best applied research or graduation project at Fayoum
University), in addition to the awards for university employees.
