Under
the patronage of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, the
Community Service and Environmental Development Council held its 218th
session on March 15, 2026, at the Central Library.
The session
was chaired by Prof. Assem El-Essawy, Vice President of the University for
Community Service and Environmental Development, and attended by the esteemed
members of the Council.
Prof. Assem
El-Essawy explained that the activities and events implemented by the Community
Service and Environmental Development sector (the General Administration for
Community Service and Environmental Projects, the faculties, centers, and
units) at the university level were presented. Several cooperation protocols
with entities wishing to collaborate with the university were also discussed.
The
Council was informed of the Supreme Council of Universities' decision approving
the launch of the electronic platform for the activities and achievements of
the Community Service and Environmental Development sector in Egyptian public
universities.
