Fayoum University: Closing Ceremony of the 12th National Forum for Ideal Male and Female Students and the 5th National Forum for the "Goodwill Ambassadors" Initiative at the Level of Egyptian Universi

Under the patronage of Prof. Abdel Aziz Qansouh, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, attended the closing ceremony of the 12th National Forum for Ideal Male and Female Students and the 5th National Forum of the "Goodwill Ambassadors" Initiative, hosted by Fayoum University from May 3-6, 2026, under the supervision of Dr. Sherif El-Attar, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs.

In the presence of Prof. Assem El-Essawy, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and members of the final judging panel for the Forum competitions: Prof. Roshdy El-Adawy, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at Kafr El-Sheikh University; Prof. Ashraf El-Abbasy, Dean of the Faculty of Sports Science; Prof. Ashraf Abdel-Maaboud, Former Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels; Prof. Wael Tobar, General Coordinator of Student Activities and Head of the preliminary judging panel for the competition; members of the committee; students and administrative delegations from various universities, the event was held on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, in the university's Grand Celebration Hall.

Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata stated that Fayoum University is keen to host the competition annually due to its significant importance in highlighting outstanding young role models from various Egyptian universities. He added that all participants in the Forum are distinguished and influential students with promising futures, as they are the best leaders for tomorrow.

Regarding the Fifth Summit of the "Goodwill Ambassadors" initiative, Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata noted that the 16 initiatives addressing issues related to people with disabilities were characterized by their diversity and inclusiveness. He emphasized the university's commitment to supporting people with disabilities and providing them with a supportive and suitable learning environment.

During the closing ceremony, the winners were announced as follows:

In the Ideal Student competition, first place went to Abdel Rahman Ali Fathy from Beni Suef University.

Second place went to Youssef Ahmed Abdel Moneim from Fayoum University, and third place to Hesham Hamdy Saad from Kafr El-Sheikh University.

In the Ideal Female Student competition, first place went to Sarah Emad El-Din Abdel Qader from Damietta University. Second place went to Rozan Jihad Magdy from Fayoum University, and third place to Fatima Mohamed Zaky from Kafr El-Sheikh University.

 

In the group awards, Tanta University won first place, Beni Suef University second place, and Fayoum University third place. Suez and Assiut Universities received the Excellence Award.

In the "Goodwill Ambassadors" initiative competition, the "Masar" initiative, presented by Benha University, won for the Greater Cairo region. The "Makan" initiative, presented by Tanta University, won for the Central and Southern Delta region. The "Awn" initiative, presented by Kafr El-Sheikh University, won for the Northern Delta and Coastal region. The "Wajat" initiative, presented by Beni Suef University, won for the Northern Upper Egypt region. The "Sanad Center" initiative, presented by Assiut National University, won for the Central and Southern Upper Egypt region. The "Smart Wheelchair" initiative, presented by Suez University, won for the Canal and Sinai region. The "Awn" initiative, presented by Kafr El-Sheikh University, won the award for Best Initiative among Egyptian universities.

On the sidelines of the closing ceremony, the members of the judging committees for the forum’s competitions, the organizing committee, a number of directors-general and university employees, students involved in the organization, and the delegations participating in the forum were honored. The Fayoum University choir presented a distinctive musical segment that was well received by the attendees.
