Under
the patronage of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University,
Prof. Sherif El-Attar, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs,
attended a ceremony honoring Ms. Salwa Ahmed Fouad, Director General of the
General Administration for Student Welfare, on the occasion of her retirement.
The
ceremony was also attended by Mr. Ahmed Rashad, Secretary General of the
University; Prof. Wael Tobar, General Coordinator of Student Activities; Mr.
Amr Mady, Assistant Secretary General for Financial Affairs; and a number of
directors general, directors of student welfare departments from various
faculties, and administrative staff. The event took place on Sunday, June 7,
2026.
Prof. Sherif
El-Attar emphasized that such occasions are among the most cherished gatherings
at Fayoum University, reflecting the values of dedication, generosity, and
commitment to work. He noted that honoring Ms. Salwa was a significant gesture
of appreciation for her contributions. Ms. Salwa Ahmed was honored for her
distinguished career, during which she served as a model of diligence, hard
work, and dedication. He praised her exemplary character and outstanding
performance throughout her years of service, noting her numerous valuable
contributions that left a positive impact on her colleagues.
For her
part, Ms. Salwa Ahmed expressed her pride in belonging to the Fayoum University
family. She stated that throughout her career, she had the privilege of working
with distinguished university leaders who provided support and assistance to
all staff members. She also thanked her colleagues in the General
Administration for Student Welfare for their sincere efforts and continuous
cooperation.
At the
conclusion of the ceremony, Prof. Sherif
El-Attar and Mr. Ahmed Rashad presented Ms. Salwa Ahmed with an award in
recognition of her contributions and dedicated service.
