Under the patronage of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum
University, the Council for Postgraduate Studies, Cultural Relations, and
Research held its 228th session, chaired by Prof. Assem Fouad
El-Essawy, Vice President of the University for Community Service and
Environmental Development and Supervisor of the Postgraduate Studies, Cultural
Relations, and Research Sector, and in the presence of the esteemed members of
the Council, on Sunday, June 21, 2026, in the conference hall of the Institute
of Research and Strategic Studies for Nile Basin Countries.
The Council approved the proposed postgraduate studies regulations
(credit-hour system) for the College of Education, covering professional
diploma, specialized diploma, master's, and doctoral programs in all
disciplines, after addressing the observations of the committee formed to
review it. Similarly, the Council approved the proposed postgraduate studies
regulations (credit-hour system) for the College of Al-Alsun, following
amendments made by the committee formed to review the proposal.
The Council also approved the registration of 33 master's degrees and 27
doctoral degrees across the university's various colleges. The topics on the
agenda were discussed.
