Under
the patronage of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, and
in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and
Scientific Research,
Prof. Assem
El-Essawy, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development,
and Prof. Sherif El-Attar, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs,
oversaw the aptitude tests for admission to the Faculty of Sports Sciences for
the 2026/2027 academic year. These tests were for students holding a high
school diploma who wish to enroll in the faculty. They also inspected the halls
designated for receiving the students.
The
tests were conducted on Sunday, July 19, 2026, in the presence of Prof. Ashraf
El-Abbasy, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Mahmoud El-Bashihy, Vice Dean for
Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Moataz Ali Hassan, Vice Dean for Community
Service and Environmental Development, and a number of faculty members and
administrators.
The
tests took place on Sunday, July 19, 2026. Prof. Assem El-Essawy affirmed
Fayoum University's commitment to providing services to all students according
to the highest standards of quality and transparency. He also emphasized the
university's dedication to providing all necessary support and resources to
ensure the smooth conduct of the aptitude tests and to create a suitable
environment for applicants, thus facilitating the testing process and achieving
the highest levels of organization and discipline.
Prof. Sherif
El-Attar explained that the aptitude tests comprise several stages, including:
online registration, initial medical examination, physical and skills tests,
height, weight, and physique measurements, and a personal interview.
He
commended the organizational efforts of the Faculty of Sports Sciences
administration and encouraged students to exert further effort to achieve the
required excellence and distinction.
Prof.
Ashraf El-Abbasy noted that approximately 107 male and 60 female students
underwent medical examinations on Sunday. He added that online registration for
the aptitude tests is conducted through the electronic coordination website and
