Prof.
Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, received Prof. Ahmed

his visit to the Digital Egypt Innovation Center (Creativa) on Tuesday, July

Development, along with center officials and students.
During
the visit, they inspected the training program hosted by Fayoum University.
This program is part of the Ministry of Communications and Information
Technology's strategy to build digital capabilities and is being conducted at
the Cybersecurity Academy for Youth and Juniors, affiliated with the National
Telecommunications Institute (NTI), in cooperation with the National
Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA). It is the third edition of the
Cybersecurity SuperHero Academy program.
The
training program aims to enhance cybersecurity, promote a culture of safe and
responsible technology use, teach methods for protecting personal data, and
raise awareness about the risks of cyberattacks such as phishing and other
cyber threats, as well as methods for preventing them.
It is
worth noting that the Academy’s training programs are implemented in 17
governorates across the country, and Fayoum University is one of the host
institutions for these programs, confirming its role in supporting the state’s
efforts to spread digital awareness, and to equip young people with the skills
necessary to keep pace with technological developments and promote
cybersecurity concepts.
