Fayoum University: Closing Ceremony of the Leadership Training Camp "Modern Egypt: From Challenge to Achievement... The Journey of Development and the Will to Build"

Prof. Sherif Mohamed Sabry Al-Attar, Acting President of Fayoum University and Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Assem Al-Essawy, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, witnessed the closing ceremony of the leadership preparation camp at the college level under the title: - “Modern Egypt from challenge to achievement...the journey of development and the will to build,” which was organized by the General Administration for Student Welfare.

In the presence of Prof. Bouthaina Youssef, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hosny, Former Dean of the Faculty of Social Service, and Mr. Ahmed Rashad, Secretary-General of the University, Prof. Wael Tobar, General Coordinator of Student Activities, members of the arbitration committees, and a number of faculty members, administrators, and students of the colleges participating in the camp, today, Wednesday, August 26, 2026, in the University’s Grand Celebration Hall.

Prof. Sherif Al-Attar pointed out that investing in youth is the ultimate goal of Fayoum University in order to prepare a generation capable of bearing the burdens of the future and drawing a development map for the country that deserves all our effort and sincerity. He stressed that the camp activities aimed to provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge to build leadership personalities that contribute to the development of society and provide opportunities to enhance communication and cooperation between students from different colleges, through a variety of artistic, cultural and sports events and competitions and educational seminars

He also added that the camp's closing ceremony represents a new beginning for young leaders capable of achieving aspirations and carrying positive values ​​and the spirit of belonging to the homeland.

For his part, Prof. Wael Tobar announced the results of the camp’s activities, which included: - “Public Activity Cup”; The Faculty of Agriculture won first place, the Faculty of Sports Sciences won second place, the Faculty of Specific Education won third place, the “Discipline and Commitment Cup” for the College of Specific Education and the “Restaurant League Cup” for the College of Agriculture.

The results of the colleges and university cities participating in the various activities were also honored and announced, which included: - “social, artistic, research, essay, cultural, scientific, technological, and sports activities.”

In a related context, Prof. Sherif Al-Attar presented certificates of appreciation to the members of the Supreme Committee and the Executive Committee for judging the competitions, in addition to handing over certificates of appreciation to the winning colleges, their students, and members of the committees organizing the camp.
